The 35th edition of the prestigious King's Cup Sepaktakraw World Championship took place from 24th to 31st July 2022 in Bangkok, Thailand. Co-organized by the Takraw Association of Thailand and the International Sepaktakraw Federation (ISTAF), this international tournament brought together teams from twenty-three countries, including Nepal. As the official apparel sponsor of the Sepak Takraw Team Nepal, KTM CTY proudly supported Nepalese players in their quest for glory.

The championship featured three categories: male, female, and mixed. In the men's division, Team Nepal showcased their skills in both the Premier Division (PM) and Division 1 (D1). After a series of impressive victories against Bangladesh, Switzerland, and Australia, Team Nepal secured a spot in the Division 1 semifinals. Although they faced a tough challenge against Iran, the team's performance was commendable. Ultimately, it was India who emerged as the winners of the Men's Regu Division 1, claiming the title in a thrilling final.

In the women's division, Team Nepal competed in the Premier Division, displaying determination and sportsmanship throughout the matches. Despite their best efforts, they faced tough opponents and were unable to secure victories. The Women's Regu Premier Division title went to South Korea, which showcased their exceptional skills and claimed the championship trophy.
